Shipping Policy

Shipping information for South African Customers

JimSA uses a number of courier companies within South Africa. We strive to get your orders to you as quickly as possible. Some of our suppliers work on a 'made to order' basis, so there could be a lead time for certain products. We always try our best to indicate this on the product page where relevant.

Some items are shipped directly from the product manufacturer or distributor. If a product is out of stock, we will notify you within 24 business hours from when the order is placed via email. We require a handling time of 3-4 days to get your items ready to be delivered. Please allow for up to 5 days for delivery from date of dispatch depending on your location and if the product is in stock; most deliveries to main centres within 2-3 weekdays. Note that product availability is indicated on product pages just above the 'add to cart' button. By default we dispatch orders when all products in a particular order are ready for dispatch (i.e. when those with lead times are also ready). On request and for a partial fulfilment surcharge we will be happy to ship your order in separate parts should all items not be ready for dispatch at the same time. 

Note that courier deliveries are unfortunately not possible on weekends or public holidays. All packages must be signed for when delivered - please make sure that when making your purchase, you provide an address where there will be somebody to sign during working hours. If you provide your cellphone number and/or email address when ordering then we will keep you up to date via delivery tracking.

Please note that once your parcel has left us and in the hands of the courier then it is the responsibility of the courier to get your parcel to you and we have no control over duration or delivery times. Should the courier not be able to deliver due to incorrect address provided or should the courier not be able to reach you at the phone number provided then your parcel might be returned to us after a number of failed delivery attempts - the cost to resend your parcel would be for your account.

FREE SHIPPING on all Front Runner rack kits within a 50km radius of all main centres in South Africa.

DES SOL FREE SHIPPING can take up to two weeks to be delivered as these products are shipped once a week from the supplier.
